The LG CU320 sliding cell phone has managed to give a boost of prestige to Cingular’s UMTS mobile data network, which has long been eclipsed by the EV-DO offerings of Sprint Nextel and Verizon.

Laptop Magazine describes this handset as a “multitasking master,” with the ability to take calls and perform data tasks simultaneously. Wireless internet, MP3 playback, 3D mobile gaming, and 15 FPS video are all supported on this powerful little unit.

Other features of note include a built-in 1.3-megapixel digital camera, TransFlash memory card slot, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
