  • LG PM-225

The PM-225 is a great deal at under $50, but is a mixed bag design-wise. Its antenna-free clamshell style makes it look attractive, but the cramped keypad can get a bit frustrating.

The integrated VGA camera is surprisingly good for the price, and sending pictures by email is a quick and user-friendly process.

Voice dialing and speakerphone functions make this an excellent hands-free phone for driving, and call quality has been tested as above average. Data access is a bit slow over Sprint’s 1xRTT network, but it gets the job done.

Overall, the LG PM-225 is a fairly basic, but its one of the best phones you’ll find in such a low price range.

    Provider: Sprint Nextel
    Price: $49.99* (with two-year contract)
