  • UTStarcom CDM 180

The CDM 180 is very easy to use, with its simple design, wide display, and generous keypad, which makes mis-dialing next to impossible. The menu structure makes contacts extremely easy to navigate, while the built-in VGA camera takes wider-angle photographs than you’d expect.

Verizon’s network provides good call quality and very fast data access for such a low-cost handset.

This phone doesn’t offer a lot in the way of media capability, or other advanced bells and whistles, but it is very easy to use, and offers good value for money.

    Provider: Verizon Wireless
    Price: $69.99* (with two-year contract)
